Sim-Construct: About Us

We share the same passion Flying is our passion. So in our spare time we've made it to a PPL and at home we 'played' Microsoft Flight Simulator® since day one. In the summer of 2008 it became more serious. We started to construct a scale 100% Boeing 737NG cockpit. The room in our house reserved exclusively for flight simulation is not spacy enough to accommodate a full size cockpit shell. So we started to think of a creative way to 'hang-up' our overhead panels. Our solution is a frame made of 2mm profiled steel, based on the exact measurements of a real life cockpit, that becomes 'one' with our MIP. We partnered with a friend who owns a company that is used to deliver top-class welding and construction. Together we did the design and prototyping. Our customers are both, private and professional flight simulator users. The frame was the start of a line of products. That was the start. Almost immediately professional and hobby sim-builders were interested and asked for add-on's. After having experienced the quality of our products the question came; "Wil you PLEASE make rudder pedals? Please!" Who can say "No" to that? So we started on the second product and since then more products followed. Although we do have a career in another type of business, our passion for flying and flight simulation makes it that we go for the best!
